Requirements

HEAD TEACHER - UNIVERSAL PRE-KINDERGARTEN

Bachelors of Science Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education
and
Certification to Teach in this Area

HEAD TEACHER –PRESCHOOL GROUP

Associate Degree in Early Childhood/Childhood Development or related field
or
Childhood Development Associate credential and 2 years experience
or
9 College credits in Early Childhood/Child Development leading to a degree

HEAD TEACHER – TODDLER GROUP

Associate Degree in Early Childhood/Child Development or related field
Or
Childhood Development Associate Credential /2 years experience
Or
9 College credits in Early Childhood/Child Development leading to a degree 2 years experience

1 year specific training/experience in toddler care which may be demonstrated by
obtaining an Infant/Toddler Child Care Credential

HEAD TEACHER – SCHOOL AGE GROUP

Associates Degree in Child Development or related field
Or
High School Diploma and 2 years direct experience working with children under 13

ASSISTANT TO HEAD TEACHER

High School Diploma and/or substantial experience working with children under 13

COOK
