Staff

Our staff is a great mix of people who love their work, and the children they care for here at Clarence Center Child Care and Clarence Center Preschool. Each staff member is screened through the New York State Central Registry for Child Abuse and Maltreatment and also finger printed to assure your child’s safety. They are a professional and well trained staff who provides the best care possible for all our age groups. All have completed CPR and First Aid Certification. We also have completed the MAT Training, allowing us to administer medications when necessary. Each staff member is required to complete many hours of training in various topics of child care, this only adds to the knowledge and experience they bring to their chosen profession.

To work with children a person needs some special qualities and we feel our staff has many:

Evaluations are done throughout the year to keep staff informed of their job performance. We strive for continuity in staff, as that makes the best setting for your child. We also strive to be one connected team so the children are familiar with all the staff in the center and feel comfortable with everyone. Our staff’s photographs and biographies are posted outside each of their classrooms.
