I cannot thank Clarence Center Pre-K and Clarence Center Child Care enough for all the wonderful ways they have helped shape my daughter over the last few years. At just four years old, she is extremely engaged with her education and the world around her. When she comes home from school, she wants to write, spell, count and create beautiful drawings. From celebrating special holidays to exploring different cultures to discovering nature, they cover a broad spectrum on learning. In addition, her manners and inter-activity with other children are excellent. I owe much of her thoughtfulness and inquisitiveness to her teachers at both Centers. They are always open to conversations with me so that I can be a part of her day – even though I’m not there.  I truly feel that they care for her as if she were one of their own children. There is nothing more important to me than how my daughter is spending her day.  I am confident that she is happy and getting the attention she needs from teachers who care.

   My daughter Abby started with Clarence Center Childcare in October of 2001 and transitioned to the Preschool in 2004. My concern as a working parent was providing the best care and early education as possible. Clarence Center Child Care and Preschool has fulfilled that requirement and more.The education that Abby received throughout her preschool years prepared her for kindergarten and beyond. The ACB’s, Music, Art, the Calendar months, days of the week, as well as, seasons of the year were all fun activities learned that gave Abby a head start in kindergarten.  Today, Abby is part of the after school program and looks forward to the summer camp program, which is packed full of fun. The Summer Camp Sleepover is a favorite of hers!  One day Abby will be old enough to be on her own, but until then we will continue to enjoy the School Age program and the Summer Camp program at Clarence Center Preschool.

I enrolled by daughter in Clarence Center Child Care after viewing the facility and meeting with Miss Jean and some of the teachers.  I really liked the home-like atmosphere, the preparation of meals there and the menu, and the feeling that the teachers love to go to school each day!  Miss Kim really helped to ease her transition to preschool and Miss Meggan has been wonderful.  I love the attention and time that the teachers spend with my daughter and it makes me feel good to know that they really do care about the well being of my child.

Our family benefits from the wonderful staff at Clarence Center Child Care as they welcome our toddler each day, engage her in many activities from art, music, playtime, reading and more. At the end of each day, daily activities are reported and staff warmly shares stories of our toddler’s day.  Her teacher is wonderful and communicates effectively above and beyond what our toddler will be doing each day and what she may need. The center has broad coverage daily. It is a benefit to our family to be able to count on the center being open for our demanding work schedules are year long. It is perfect for our daughter to be safe, happy and active. I love the very bright classrooms and the large play yard outside. Everything is always neat and clean and neat.

Cameron has attended Clarence Center since he was five months old. My husband and I were apprehensive about putting our child in day care, but our fears soon vanished. We have been exceedingly pleased with the care our son has received. Clarence Center has provided a nurturing environment that has made us feel as though the staff is part of our family. Cameron has received individualized loving care that has aided him in developing his social, emotional, creative and cognitive skills. The curriculum far surpasses what our child has learned. His mind is constantly challenged, and his thought process is constantly maturing, while still maintaining his childhood. We simply cannot say enough about the developmental stimulation he has received at Clarence Center Child Care and Preschool and the wonderful learning environment our son is fortunate enough to experience.
